When a fan of Varun Dhawan attempted SUICIDE!

Stardom has its own ups and downs. Either you can use your popularity to spread a message, or it could have unimaginable consequences. And recently, Varun Dhawan faced the latter side of it, which understandably gave him or would have given anybody sleepless night for that matter.

Reportedly, a fan of the Judwaa 2 star had been bombarding him with text messages on WhatsApp, to the point that Dhawan got annoyed and blocked the lad to avoid any further complications. But, things got really complicated when Dhawan received a call from an unknown number and on the other side was, you guessed it, the same fan. He went on to threaten Dhawan of committing suicide if his only demand of interacting with the star is not met.

Soon, a frantic Varun went on to get advice from his legal advisors and also filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime department in BKC.

An official statement from the Santa Cruz police station read, “We have received a complaint from Varun Dhawan and are in the process of finding out details about the person who had called him. The number has been switched off ever since the call was made”

Well, if stardom has its perks, they surely do not come without a downside attached to it and this incident with Dhawan is proof!
