Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan reunite for Rannbhoomi

The hit trio of Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan are all set to unite for the third time for Rannbhoomi. Like the previous movies, the third collaboration is not a love story but a war film.

KJo took to Twitter to reveal the news as he wrote, “So proud to announce #RANNBHOOMI …@ShashankKhaitan and @Varun_dvn take a giant leap in their third offering together! A solid spectacle with a beating heart!!! DIWALI 2020 release! Remaining lead cast to be announced soon! @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18”

With this Karan Johar has already booked Diwali 2020 for the release of the film.

A close source while speaking about the film to a leading daily revealed It’s not just an epic tale; it indulges in emotions and opulence equally, as it is at heart a love story. In essence, it is a revenge drama.

With Rannbhoomi in Varun kitty, the 30-year-old actor has surely got some good movies in his hand. He recently finished with the shooting of Shoojit Sircar’s October. The teaser of the film was released recently and the film will hit the screens on 13th April 2018.

Varun is currently shooting for Sui Dhaaga – Made In India along with Anushka Sharma.
