Varun Dhawan apologizes for chanting “Nepotism Rocks”

Since the beginning of the week, a lot has been said and written about the three hosts of the IIFA Awards, Saif Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar as they got together on the stage and legitimately yelled at the top of their voices “Nepotism Rocks….. Nepotism Rocks”.

Soon after which, the Twitterati came down on the three heavily, as they (quite righty) said that it contained no humor whatsoever and went on to show the pride that they had of the nepotism that was practiced in the Hindi Film Industry.

After Saif Ali Khan sharing his regret for the act, Varun Dhawan has come forward with regards to the same. Instead of defending the statement, he politely apologized for what he did.

This tweet itself goes on to show the sensitivity that Varun has as a person towards the sentiments of the general audience. Hats off!
