Varun-Alia reappearing on KWK season 5?
So, the buzz around town is that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will be reappearing for a fresh episode on the fifth season of Koffee with Karan, to promote their upcoming movie, Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya. Johar has all the reason to call the duo back on the comfy-poky couch, since KJo is really fond of the two of them and, ahem ahem, the movie is produced by Karan Johar, himself!
The on-and-off relationship of Alia and Varun has given the tabloids a lot to write about ever since Student Of The Year, and the questions on the same topic make up a never ending list …… and then some more!
In the past, Alia and Varun have made appearances on KWK 5 opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Kapoor respectively.
One would say that this installment of Koffee with Karan has become quite a promotional platform, pretty much against the show’s paradigm, which mandated the appearances post the film hitting theaters. Looks like now KWK is suffering at the expense of the spicy element that the show had been famous (and in some cases, infamous) for.
The teaser of Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya is set to be unveiled on the 30th of this month, so conventional wisdom says that the episode will happen sometime around the date.
