Tara Sutaria walks out of Shahid Kapoor’s Arjun Reddy remake!

Tara Sutaria, who is all set to make her debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2, will not be a part of Arjun Reddy’s Hindi remake starring Shahid Kapoor. The debutante reportedly signed the project agreeing upon that it would be her second release after SOTY 2 but as she had some date issues, both the makers and the actress mutually decided to part ways.

A source close to a leading daily was quoted saying, “Eventually, the makers of the film and Tara’s managers amicably decided to part ways because of the delay caused. It is for this reason that the makers of the Arjun Reddy remake decided to let go of Tara and look for another actress. They have finalised a couple of options and will be announcing the name in the next few days.”

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor, who recently turned father to a baby boy, is very much part of the movie and will commence shooting for it post his paternity break.
