Salman Khan wins the Best Host Award for Bigg Boss at the Asian Academy Creative Awards!

Salman Khan isn’t usually recognized at the Award Functions and the actor doesn’t even care! But finally, after a long time, he has bagged an award and it isn’t for any of his on-screen performances but for Bigg Boss. You read that right! The actor has been awarded with the Best Entertainer/Host Award at the inaugural Asian Academy Creative Awards! The other major winner of the night was Anurag Kashyap, who won the Best Director Award for the Netflix crime-drama, Sacred Games.

Well, it must be said that both the shows, one reality and one fiction, have their own cult and fan-following. On the work-front, Kashyap will reunite Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with a film called Gulab Jamun, whereas Khan will be seen in films like Bharat, Kick 2, Dabangg 3 and a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial rumored to star Anushka Sharma opposite him.
