Given the amount of actors Salman Khan has mentored and inspired, he is possibly the only man from the industry who can be the right choice to comment on the new generation of performers. In a recent interview during the promotions of Race 3, he candidly spoke on how the gen-next actors need to learn how to catch the pulse of the audiences.
“Tiger Shroff got it right this time (Baaghi 2). Varun Dhawan has always been getting it right. He tried one, but then that was a film (October) he wanted to do and it did make decent money and no one lost anything. Apart from that, I think everyone is going slightly… They think India is from Cuffe Parade to Andheri, which is not true. They think our emotions are outdated,” he said.
Given Tiger and Varun’s upcoming films, which include Student Of The Year 2 and Sui Dhaaga respectively, they should hopefully be able to strike a chord with the Pan-India audiences and repeat their previous commercial successes. As far as Bhai is concerned, he’s doing a variety of roles after Race 3, which include Bharat, Dabangg 3, Kick 2 and Sher Khan.
