Reema Lagoo passes away at 59

Bollywood’s favorite mom, Reema Lagoo passed away this morning after reportedly suffering from cardiac arrest.

After she complained of chest pain yesterday, she was immediately rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, where she breathed her last this morning.

Lagoo began her career with Hindi and Marathi films during the late 70’s and early 80’s. She was best known for her work in hit films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, Hum Saath Saath Hai and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She is also known for her remarkable work on television in popular TV shows like Shrimaan Shrimati and Tu Tu Mein Mein.

She survives through her ex-husband Vivek and daughter Mrunmayee Lagoo
