Ranveer Singh to reunite with his first director Maneesh Sharma?

There’s an interesting piece of news for all the Ranveer Singh fans as the actor might be collaborating with his debut movie Band Baaja Baaraat’s director Maneesh Sharma. This will be the duo’s third collaboration after Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.

Now, if reports are to believed, Maneesh Sharma has started working on the script, which is said to be a musical love story and is keen on casting Ranveer in the film. The untitled venture might reportedly see Ranveer in the role of a musician.

When asked about it, Maneesh was quoted saying to a leading daily, “Just recently, someone asked me that I am making Dhoom 4 and how’s it going. I am actually waiting for someone to tell me which third film I am making. I am not saying anything and I am working on scripts. Currently, it feels like that I am working on many films with big stars.”

On the other hand, Ranveer, who is on a roll post the success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, has Rohit Shetty’s Simbaa and Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy lined up in his kitty. The actor is also said to begin the shooting for 83’ which chronicles the prestigious 1983 cricket World Cup victory for India in which he will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev.
