Ranbir Kapoor BREAKS his silence on the Mahira Khan Row!

Those who have been reading any kind of news in the past two days are well aware that a picture of Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan bonding over a smoke break is going viral. This has caused a lot of pain for the Raees actress as people have been trolling her over smoking and wearing a particular kind of dress, amongst others.

Now, Ranbir Kapoor, who is known to stay silent in such situations, has broken his silence about the online trolls by saying, “I’ve gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also sad is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and love,”

Concluding his statement, he said, “PS: Both smoking and hate are injurious to health.”

Wow. Now that’s quite an apt statement made by RK Jr.

On the work front, Ranbir will be seen in the upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic.
