Rajkummar Rao to team up with Dinesh Vijan for a yet another horror comedy!

After the success of Stree, Rajkummar Rao is all set to collaborate with Dinesh Vijan for a yet another horror comedy thriller. Dinesh Vijan’s film Stree has already bagged five awards across different categories at The 2018 Star Screen Awards. The critically acclaimed film did phenomenally well at the box office, entering the Rs 100 crore club.

Well, confirming about their upcoming untitled venture, Dinesh was quoted saying, “Yes, Raj and I are back and I couldn’t be happier as he is one of the most talented actors we have today. I am extremely happy and proud for Raj bagging the best actor award.” Trade expert, Taran Adarsh, tweeted about the official announcement of the film, have a look right here:-

Talking about Raj’s character, Dinesh added, “He springs a surprise with every film and this one will be no different. Raj plays a small-time goon whose plans go haywire when he discovers that he might be in store for some supernatural encounters! You can be sure he will be as riveting as Stree’s ladies’ tailor, chasing after a ghost.”

The female lead of the movie is yet to be finalized and talking about it, he said, “The female lead is an exciting character, much like Stree she too will be the focal point and game changer for the film. It’s definitely going to be a laugh riot off and on set! “We will just have to wait and watch as to who lands the part!

The movie will be directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and also features Fukrey’s Choocha, Varun Sharma. Talking about it, Mrigdeep said, “Raj and Choocha are a stellar combination that nobody has explored. It will be a delight to watch Raj’s effervescent energy and comic timing match with Choocha’s inherent comical innocence. They are the perfect choice for our protagonists. They are playing characters unlike they have ever played before. Though Raj has proved his comic timing in films like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Stree, here he will have to shed every bit of himself and get into the skin of this self-proclaimed village hero, who is actually a fool.”

On the other hand, Dinesh and Rajkummar will also be collaborating for the sequel to Stree!
