Paresh Rawal to play Sunil Dutt in Raju Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic!

Rumors were rife that Akshay Khanna will be essaying the role of Sunil Dutt in Raju Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. But according to recent reports veteran actor, Paresh Rawal will be essaying the role of senior Dutt in the film.

A source close to the film which went on floors yesterday said, “The film will showcase a beautiful father-son track. We are happy to have on board Paresh Rawal, who will be seen essaying Sunil Dutt in the film. As known, Sunil and Sanjay shared a deep bond in real life and Raju Sir is all set to recreate many of these heart-touching moments on celluloid.”

The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, and will be releasing this December.
