Padmavati won’t make it to the silver screen this year

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has encountered numerous obstacles. From the sets of the movie being vandalised twice to SLB being punched in the face (Ouch! That’s totally how creative people are treated in India)

Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh was slated to release in November this year and it totally sounds like a hypothetical statement now as the movie hasn’t wrapped up yet and is also facing multiple hurdles.

Padmavati is a big budget movie which will have an uncompromising post production work causing more delay. Adding to this mayhem is the CBFC. The CFBC has always paid extra heed to the content of such film.

No official statement has been put out by the makers yet, but there has been a buzz that the makers have decided to push the film to 2018.
