Padmaavat: Ranveer Singh BEATS Aamir Khan!

Padmaavat is that one film which the whole world had their eyes on, mainly because all the controversies that surrounded the film probably made international news and maybe even partly because its leading lady, Deepika Padukone had already become quite a name in the west, after debuting there alongside Vin Diesel in xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

And, it looks like all that has been happening before the release of the film has paid off, if the box office numbers are to go by.

As per reports, the epic drama opened in the US markets with a staggering amount of 1.20 million dollars, which is roughly 7.5 crores, hence breaking the record of the Aamir Khan-starrer Dhoom 3.

Now, that’s quite EARTH SHATTERING, right?

On the home turf, the film stands tall at an ASTOUNDING amount of 83 crores!
