Krushna Abhishek’s roast is not being taken well or might be too hard to digest for certain people in Bollywood. Just a couple of months back, actress Tannishtha Chatterjee had walked out of ‘Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza’ after racist remarks were made on her complexion. Now we hear, John Abraham lost his cool on the sets and stormed out of the show! The actor, who went to the show to promote his upcoming flick ‘Force 2’ along with co-star Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly upset with host Krushna for criticizing his previous flops like ‘Paap’.
Regretting the uncalled-for turn of events, Krushna told a leading daily, “John and I have known each other for many years now and he is the only Bollywood actor who called me when my father passed away recently. I am really sad that I upset him. I was cracking jokes on his earlier films like ‘Paap’. That’s when he told me that those were his favourite films. Sometime later, when he refused to shake a leg with Sonakshi and me on stage, I realised that he was upset. He soon walked out and I ran after him, but he left. I want to apologise to him. I haven’t slept since the last few days because of this. I hope he understands and forgives me.”
‘Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza’ has always been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons and this is not the first time the comedian anchor is being accused of taking digs at celebs. Do you think Krushna should take some lessons from Kapil Sharma on how to bond with B-Town stars?
