The year 2012 is when fame and fortune came knocking at Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s door, the man who had spent nearly two decades doing insignificant roles in so many films that perhaps Nawaz Bhai himself must have lost track of it, until Gangs Of Wasseypur happened. However, although he may not have what one considers the real superstar looks, one thing is for sure that he has always been charming all along.

In a media interaction, director Anurag Kashyap revealed that before jumping on to Gangs Of Wasseypur, the movie that turned the tables for Nawazuddin Siddiqui FOREVER, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was dating a beauty queen and that too no ordinary beauty queen, a MISS INDIA!
