OMG: Deepika Padukone Replaced Sonam Kapoor!

Sonam Kapoor paid a tribute to yester year actress Rekha by shaking a leg to her popular songs in an award show. But she was replaced at last minute by Deepika Padukone to give the award away to the Diva, Rekha.

According to a report in a tabloid, Sonam was initially supposed to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Rekha. But eventually, the honour was done by Deepika, who confirmed her presence last minute at the event.

While sources suggested that Deepika attended the show on one condition that she would be given an opportunity to present the award. The organiser wanted more stars to attend the award show agreed on the same, hence replacing Sonam at last minute.

Sonam left the event abruptly. Later, the actress gave the event organizers an earful. Sonam did take it to her heart but what can we say –  such is life!
