October: When Shoojit Sircar turned DOCTOR himself!

One of the main attractions of Varun Dhawan’s Shoojit Sircar directorial, October were the extremely detailed and unbelievably apt depictions of the hospital environment, which is a tricky thing to achieve, especially if a majority of the film is set in a hospital. Somewhere, in the back of our minds, we were convinced that these visuals that we saw were a brainwave of Shoojit Da himself.

To achieve what he did with this Varun Dhawan-starrer, one must have spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital rooms and corridors. As it turns out, that was indeed the case!

In this latest Behind The Scenes video that was released by the makers just recently, Shoojit can be seen relaying the days (or rather, in this case, months) that he spent at length while taking care of his ailing mother. Here, you will witness the greatness of this man as a creator and a filmmaker. It could get especially hard to keep your imaginations running throughout. But now, courtesy this video, we are convinced that anything is possible!

So, this video serves as a direct answer to the claims that were made by the director of a similar kind of film in Marathi earlier today that the story is anything but original. Dear offended people, are you listening?
