Not Bhumi Pednekar but Rani Mukerji to star opposite SRK in Salute?

Shah Rukh Khan, who’ll be seen as a dwarf in Aanand L. Rai’s next film Zero, is already gearing up for the late astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s biopic Salute. The film has already gone through a lot of speculations and rumors as far as the leading lady of the film is concerned. Right from Kareena Kapoor Khan to Priyanka Chopra, several names popped up in the media. The latest one was Bhumi Pednekar, who was finalized to romance the star.

However, there’s another twist in the story, sources say that even Bhumi isn’t the final choice for the makers. They are planning to sign someone who has romanced the actor in multiple films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Chalte Chalte, Paheli and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Yes, we are talking about Rani Mukerji. If all goes well, we might see a reunion of the two stars on the big screen.
