Lip Sing Battle Review: The 45 min show comes as a big disappointment

After a long time, Farah Khan returned to the small screen with the reality show Lip Sing Battle which is based on the international show ‘Lip Sync Battle‘. The promo’s and the teaser promised to be fun and entertaining, but in reality, the show turned out to be a huge disaster.

The first guest on the show were Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Kapoor. The first 10 min of the show was taken up by long introduction and an act in where Ali Asgar was dressed up as Rakhee doing a spoof of Karan Arjun with the dialogue “Mere Farhan Arjun aayenge…”

The first task began and Farhan performed to Shankar Mahadevan‘s Breathless, while Arjun lip-synced RD Burman‘s Duniya Mein Logon Ko.

In the second round, Frahan performed to Rishi Kapoor‘s song Om shanti om… from Karz and Arjun performed as Sanjay Dutt from Khalnayak. He lip-synced to the song Nayak nahi khalnayak hoon main.

Well, the worst part about the show is that there is no judge but still both the actors are given scores.

At the end of the show, both the stars looked relieved as the episode has come to an end.

In short, the whole show is a real pain and waste of money.
