Karan Johar keeps it low key on his 46th birthday
Karan Johar is possibly the biggest party animal in Tinsel Town. The multi-faceted filmmaker doesn’t look for occasions to throw a bash. He throws a bash and it becomes an occasion. But, it’s quite surprising that the Dharma scion decided to keep it low key on his 46th birthday.
Unlike last year, where he threw a big birthday bash attended by the who’s who of B’ Town like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, he chose to stay away from the limelight and opted for a quiet celebration far away from the soil, in the Big Apple, New York. On the workfront, Karan recently spoke about his next directorial, “I have locked a screenplay and I am going to direct a film around mid-next year. I look forward to casting for it as soon as I come back from New York.” Apart from this, he’s a busy producer as he has films like Dhadak, Student Of The Year 2, Simmba, Kesari, Kalank and Brahmastra lined up.
