KALANK: Varun Dhawan looks fierce and fascinating in his first look!

Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit are all collaborating for Abhishek Varman’s mega-ambitious, Kalank, which opens in the cinemas on April 19 this year. Karan Johar, the producer, has described this period drama as his most special film and cinematic journey yet. The details about the plot are yet to be revealed, but it has been stated that Dhawan and Kapur play brothers who play the characters of Blacksmiths. Dutt has also stated that this drama is about two families and completely different from what we have seen before.

Dixit may essay the role of a courtesan and Bhatt that of her student. Well, beginning from today, the makers will unveil the looks of the actors and the first actor’s look to be out is of Dhawan. He plays Zafar, a kohl-eyed, bearded man dripping with intensity. Have a look at his look right here:-
