Is Deepika Padukone’s Superhero film not happening anytime soon?

Deepika Padukone was all set to turn into a Superhero for a film, but it seems the film has been put on a backburner. There are no specific reasons as to why the film is not happening anytime soon! Deepika has allotted all her dates to Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, which she’ll be co-producing.  It’s based on the life of the acid-attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal.

Not only that, rumors in the grapevine also suggest that she was also collaborating with her hubby, Ranveer Singh, for a rom-com by YRF! Alas, no confirmation regrading the same has been made either. It seems we have to wait a little longer to know more about her professional commitments. But won’t it be cool to see her as a Superhero? Hope the film happens soon!
