Happy Birthday Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar, Bollywood’s ‘Sabse Bada Khiladi’ turns 49 today. The superstar has entertained us for the past 25 years, from playing a blink and miss role as a martial arts instructor in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Aaj’ to delivering solo hero 100 cr blockbusters, Akki has surely come a long way.

Having starred in over 130 films which have collectively made over Rs 3000 crore, Kumar has dabbled in every genre possible and continues to attract viewers with breathtaking action, fabulous comic timing and perfect intensity, not to forget his great looks , energetic dancing skills and enviable physique.

Alongside his Bollywood credentials, Akshay even started a martial arts school for women alongside Shiv Sena scion, Aditya Thackeray, the school teaches women the art of self-defence. In March 2013, he started a 30-bed cancer shelter for policemen in Naigaon, Akshay has even financially helped drought affected farmers in Maharashtra and encouraged other people to do so as well. The superstar has been one of India’s highest individual taxpayers since the past ten years. Akki is truly one of the few superstars who use their stardom for good causes and for the betterment of society.
