DMK Chief M Karunanidhi passes away, Rajinikanth mourns his loss
DMK Chief and the five-time Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi breathed his last on the 7th of August, 2018 i.e. yesterday and the entire nation was in shock. One of the first few people who mourned the loss of the great leader was Superstar Rajinikanth. He took to his Twitter account and paid his last respects to the legendary figure:-
என்னுடைய கலைஞர் மறைந்த இந்த நாள் என் வாழ்நாளில் நான் மறக்க முடியாத ஒரு கருப்பு நாள்.

Even Kamal Haasan, who was in Mumbai for the promotions of his upcoming film Vishwaroopam 2, flew down to Chennai as soon as he heard about this devastating news. But he wasn’t a mere politician but also a screenwriter in Tamil Cinema. He started his career in 1947 and continued to write scripts till 2011. The nation has definitely lost an inspirational personality.
