Deepika Padukone SCORES BIG with Time’s 100 Most Influential Peoples list!

Courtesy the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone has emerged as the currently undisputed queen of the Indian box-office as her on-point portrayal of the Rajputani queen Padmavati made her the first Indian actress to have a titular role in a film that raked in a massive amount of over 300 crores on its home ground.

But now, it seems like she has a yet another feather to her cap, and it indeed is a big one in our opinion.

Quite recently, Time Magazine released a list of 100 Most Influential People, a list in which DP is the only actress to have bagged a spot. The only other Indian celebrity to be a part of this highly prestigious list is the Indian Cricket team captain, Virat Kohli, who is currently heading the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the IPL.

On this momentous occasion, Deepika posted a picture on her Instagram handle to express her gratitude of receiving such a huge honor!

Also, you have to check out what her allegedly soon-to-be-husband Ranveer Singh had to say about this milestone of hers

Speaking about the same, miss Padukone shared that, “Honestly, I’ve never really believed in self-acknowledgment. Instead, I have always looked ahead [in life]. But I must admit that today, I do feel a small sense of achievement. It is humbling to be acknowledged for the work that you do, and so, it’s my absolute honor to be part of this prestigious list alongside such incredible achievers”.

On the other hand, her Bajirao Mastani co-star and “friend”, Priyanka Chopra also took to social media to congratulate the Padmaavat actress on this occasion.
