CONFIRMED: Priyanka Chopra will star opposite Salman Khan in Bharat!
Priyanka Chopra has been away from Hindi cinema for a long time. She has been busy shooting for her television series Quantico and recently there was a buzz going on that she will be seen opposite Salman Khan in the upcoming movie Bharat.
Now news comes in that Priyanka Chopra has been finalized as the leading lady and yesterday the movie went on floors and director Ali Abbas Zafar took to social media to share the mahurat shot of the movie.
Bharat is a remake of a South Korean film – An Ode to my Father. The Hindi remake will be set against the India-Pakistan partition. The film’s remake rights have been bought by Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.
This movie will also see Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan together again after Salaam-e-Ishq and it will also see Salman Khan collaborating with director Ali Abbas Zafar post hits like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
