Amitabh Bachchan believes his “superstardom” has loomed over Abhishek’s life!
As we all know it was Abhishek Bachchan’s birthday yesterday and on his birthday papa Bachchan had an emotional post on his blog stating that his son carries the burden of being celebrity’s son from the time he took birth.
From Big B’s personal experience he said, “I was born, Bachchan ji’s son. A celebrity even before I knew how to spell the word… Abhishek was born as Amitabh Bachchan’s son… A celebrity even before he could find out what it meant.”
In addition, he also mentioned that the responsibility and expectations from the audience of being Amitabh’s son has put a burden on Abhishek till date and he continues to bear it, “My father was a known respected public figure. There were always those unwritten behavioural compulsions that were needed to be adhered to, to follow certain social norms, moral and cultural in keeping with the surname. Abhishek had to go through the same. And he still does.
Sad to see papa Bachchan getting emotional on his son’s birthday but we’re glad we have this duo in Indian Cinema!
