Alia and Varun to do a remake of Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Tamma Tamma’!

There are always fireworks when Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan come together on the big screen and why not! The duo has an amazing

onscreen chemistry. They are currently shooting for their upcoming film, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ and we hear that they are recreating an old number. Varun and Alia are shaking a leg to the popular 90’s chartbuster from Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt starrer, ‘Thanedaar’.

A source close to the film revealed, “We have retained the original voices of Bappi Lahiri and Anuradha Paudwal but also added Badshah and a bit of rap. It’s a peppy dance track with the music slightly altered to suit current trends.” We hear that the actors are wearing the same outfit and dancing with the same dance steps as Madhuri and Sanjay did too!

The film is shot extensively in Mumbai, Jhansi, Kota and Singapore. It is the story of a couple who faces hardships before their love blossoms in Singapore.

We can’t wait to see how the film turns out!
