Akshay and Bhumi wrap up their film Toilet Ek Prem Katha!

After the super success of Airlift, Housefull 3, Rustom and now Jolly LLB 2, Akshay Kumar along with his co-star Bhumi Pednekar has just wrapped up the shoot of their upcoming film titled, Toilet-Ek Prem Katha. Producers Neeraj Pandey and KriArj Entertainment have joined hands with Viacom 18 as the proud presenters of this film.

It seems like the producers of the film have taken an oath to keep a consistent track record of making films based on eloquent scripts while simultaneously entertaining the audience with a comical factor.

Toilet- Ek Prem Katha has a unique love story and also represents a social mockery that deals with tackling the jeopardy of open defecation and the changing mindsets of Indians as a whole.

The shooting of the film captures the beauty of Barsana near Mathura in November ‘16. Along with Barsana and Nandgaon in Uttar Pradesh some scenes were also shot in Bhopal for the final schedule. The authenticity of real locations of rural India and its locality provides a reality to the story which steals its real meaning from the villages of India. With the shoot now wrapped up, the cast and crew are having withdrawal symptoms.

Toilet- Ek Prem Katha, will have renowned editor Shree Narayan Singh making his directorial debut, while the film is being produced by Aruna Bhatia & Plan C Studios in association with Abuntuntia.

Let’s hope Akshay has another Box Office success with this upcoming film releasing worldwide on 2nd June 2017.
