Abhishek Bachchan’s proposal to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has a Hrithik Roshan connection!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been one of the most powerful couples of Bollywood.  The couple starred in many films together and eventually fell in love, tied the knot in a grand wedding, which took place in the Bachchan residence in Mumbai back in April 2007.

In her recent interview, the actress shed some light into their relationship and revealed how Abhishek proposed to her on the sets of Jodhaa Akbar. Talking about it, she revealed, “We’re doing Khawja mere Khwaja, sitting as a bride, and I am like, oh my god this is surreal, all happening on-screen, off-screen, this is bizarre.” 

She added, “Ashutosh is like you are engaged and I am like yeah.”

Speaking about her Jodha-Akbar co-star Hrithik’s reaction, she said that Duggu looked at Aishwarya and gave her thumbs up for her surprise engagement.
