Aamir Khan is no doubt the perfectionist of Bollywood. He stunned everyone with his transformation and acting skills in Dangal– a biopic based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat. Well, the 52-year-old-actor is all set to work on his second biopic based on the life of India’s first astronaut Rakesh Sharma. The film will be titled Salute. The biopic will be directed by Mahesh Mathai.
Aamir has joined hands with producers Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala for Salute. The project will be jointly produced by Aamir, Screwvala, and Kapur under their banners AKP, RSVP and Roy Kapur Films respectively, read a statement from the film’s publicist.
The PK star has earlier worked with both the producers for films like Rang De Basanti, Delhi Belly, PK, and Dangal.
Currently, Aamir is shooting for his much-anticipated flick Thugs of Hindostan. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh in lead roles. The shooting of the movie will take place in Europe.
Produced under the reputed banner of Yash Raj Films, Thugs of Hindostan will hit the screen in Diwali 2018.
