Katrina Kaif: It is going to be great for Salman and me to work together again

When news broke out that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were going to share screen space for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ the sequel of their 2012 blockbuster ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, there was excitement amongst media, fans and the industry alike.

In an interview with a popular daily, Katrina was asked how she felt about teaming up with Salman after 4 years to which the actress replied, “It is going to be great for Salman and me to work together in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. And I’m really happy we are coming back with this movie. The sequel is possibly the perfect film for both Salman and me to do together now. We were the most comfortable on the sets of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, as Tiger and Zoya. I think it worked well for us. It’s going to be interesting to be back on sets together.”

She was also asked how her relationship with Salman has changed over the years and she revealed, “As an actor, he reminds me to never get complacent while working. To a person who watches his films — the bigger and more successful he gets, the harder he’s working and the better he’s getting at acting.”

‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ will be directed by ‘Sultan’ director Ali Abbas Zafar and is slated to release on Christmas 2017.
