Bhoomi trailer: It’s Mom + PINK + Munnabhai

Here’s presenting the official trailer of Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari-starrer Bhoomi. The trailer starts with Sanjay Dutt chanting the prayer ‘Jai Ganesh Deva’ and his daughter (Aditi) getting ready for her wedding. Their life is perfect until a tragic incident destroys their family life, then what follows is a revenge drama which also includes a courtroom scene with victim shaming. (Hmmmm, we wonder where that came from!).

Wondering why are we calling the trailer a combination of Mom, Munnabhai, and PINK? There are the good ol’ drunk antics from Sanju baba’s Munnabhai in a setting which looks strikingly similar to Sridevi‘s MOM and has a courtroom scene where Sanjay Dutt is filling up for Amitabh Bachchan’s character from PINK.

Despite that, both Dutt and Hydari seem to be wearing their characters like their second skins.
