Priyadarshan’s Next is an All-Out Khan War!

The race between Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan to be the best in the industry has taken the heat up a notch. Thanks to south-Indian based director, Priyadarshan, two of Bollywood’s biggest stars are in an intense competition to be in his next movie. The director, has given out the movie script to both the Khan’s and is now waiting on them for a response. Whichever superstar reverts back to Priyadarshan first with their dates and availability will be featured in his blockbuster-worthy next – now isn’t this the new and improved Bollywood style Amazing Race?

The film is adapted from a film originally made in Malayalam, ‘Oppam’. The movie revolves around the life of a blind elevator operator’s struggle to prove his innocence after being accused of murder. Released in the first week of September, this movie has already earned 45 crores at the Box Office and it is now the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year.

Our sources tell us that Priyadarshan was originally going to direct a comedy movie for Rohit Shetty Productions which would star Akshay Kumar as the main lead. Akki turned that offer down since he isn’t currently interested in comedy as a genre. Hence, Priyadarshan decided to remake his Malayalam film with either Shahrukh Khan or Aamir Khan in the lead role.

After all the twists and turns, the responsibility lies heavily on Shahrukh and Aamir – Who will play the exciting role of Jayaraman in this Malayalam remake!
