Not Varun Dhawan but Arjun Kapoor to star in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy

Recently we had informed that Varun Dhawan might star in the official Hindi remake of superhit Telugu film Arjun Reddy. But now according to our Khabri Keeda, not Varun Dhawan but Arjun Kapoor will be part of the Hindi remake.

The story of Arjun Reddy revolves around a philandering, alcoholic, drug addict, a surgeon who falls in love with an innocent medical student.

The film will be directed by Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Vanga and is expected to go on floors by mid-2018.

Reports even have it that the film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Earlier Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor were also approached for the same film.

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor is lined up with projects like Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar alongside Parineeti Chopra. The film will be directed by Dibakar Banerjee and will hit the screens on August 18, 2018.

On the other hand, he is even lined up with Namaste England which is expected to be part of the Namaste franchise.
