CHECK OUT: The B-Town Celebs on the Closing Day of Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2017!

The last day of the Kala Ghoda Fest was bursting with star appearances, music performances, dance shows, cooking demos & workshops.

We had B-Town Celebs Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan who rocked on the stage and danced from tracks of their latest film, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya.’ And their moves made the crowd go crazy! There were Live Performances by Javed Ali and Sukhwinder Singh for the audience too.

There were several cooking demos held through the day. Spice Talking was an interesting spice journey through Asia Pacific with Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal.

The valentine’s week made Rhea Bharucha held a fun baking masterclass to help her audience enjoy their time together this Valentine’s Day!

Meanwhile, artist & Chef Ananya Banerjee’s take on cooking ‘Art by Ananya’ and had an artistic twist in it where she demonstrated how to make Doi BegunChannar Paturi and Bhapa Doi.

A workshop “Food on the Go” with Ripu Daman Handa, the winner of Master Chef India Season 3 dazzled the crowd with his perfect looks and fantastic cooks!

“Myths & Magic”, a workshop for children in which they get a chance to enter the wondrous world of stories was held by Sangita Jindal, Chairman JSW Foundation.

It doesn’t end here, a hilarious theater performance “Married Bachelor” in a Parsi-Gujarati combination was held. It made the audience go insane with its crazy plot and funny acting.

Suspended Sculptures – Out of the Box was a workshop held by Arzan Khambhatta and Sunil Padwal in which participants learned the art of creating 3D images and pictures.

A mixed media painting workshop was the ideal fun for participants to explore their creative side in an art workshop ‘Ready to Uncover your Inner Artist’ by Ami Patel.

Niloufer Venkatraman, Editor-in-Chief of National Geographic Travel India taught participants how to ‘Become a Travel Writer – 7 Steps’ & how to sharpen their writing skills and craft a good pitch.

Drawing from my Observations: Conversations with Sameer Kulavoor had Sameer showcasing his work that draws from his observations and has taken the form of books, magazines, art prints, murals, t-shirts, objects, and exhibits.

This year we end with the most astounding memories clutched from all the lanes of Kala Ghoda Fest 2017 and we hope to experience it every year with its new energy and enigmatic vibes!
