Irrfan Khan, Mithila Palkar & Dulquer Salmaan’s Karwaan has finally made it to the silver screen today. Since the Akarsh Khurana directorial is a film that has a road trip at the center of it, we were immediately up for it as it is one of those very rare Bollywood films where the choice of a backdrop is a road trip!
So, without any further ado, let’s talk about the five main highlights of Karwaan!
When you have a film which features Hindi Medium star Irrfan Khan, expect nothing but a dazzling performance from him! Khan’s Shaukat may not come across as likable in the beginning, but you’ll want to take a road trip with him at the end of Karwaan!
South sensation Dulquer Salmaan debuts into Bollywood with Karwaan, and we must say that he is going to make his presence felt in Bollywood, just like he did in the film! DQ seemed a bit uncomfortable with the language, but he did not let that come in his way!
As much as Karwaan is about the unconventional bonding of the three oddballs in the film, it is also about the exquisite locations and the beautiful locales that the story is set in. Don’t blame us if you’d want to take a road trip at the end of it all!
A LAUGHTER RIOT!
The first half of the film is laced with enough gags and quirky moments to give you a stomach ache for multiple days. The jokes are such that they will pop up in your head for no rhyme or reason and will end up leaving a smile on your face.
A multitude of lessons for you to take home!
If Irrfan Khan chooses to do a film, expect it to teach you unexpected things in unexpected ways. Karwaan will leave you inspired and there’s a small chance that your outlook on life will change as well!
All in all, a must watch!
