Nawazuddin Siddiqui said in one of his interviews that every actress who works with him subsequently gets the opportunity to work with Superstar Rajinikanth. Radhika Apte (Manjhi: The Mountain Man, Kabali), Amy Jackson (Freaky Ali, 2.0) and Huma Qureshi (Gangs Of Wasseypur, Kaala), are the examples before us. Now the actor himself will be collaborating with the Thalaivaa for Karthik Subbaraj’s next. This shall mark Siddiqui’s debut in Tamil Cinema and we cannot contain our excitement to see him and Rajinikanth in the same frame! Currently riding high on the accolades his character Ganesh Gaitonde from Sacred Games is receiving, the actor is likely to start shooting the film after the team wraps up the first schedule in Darjeeling and Dehradun.
According to a leading south portal, Ananda Vikatan, the superstar will essay the role of a hostel warden in the day but a dreaded don in the night.
The film will have three action sequences .The first and second schedule of the film has been shot at Darjeeling and Dehradun respectively, while the third schedule will be shot at Chennai’s EVP studios.
This will be Rajinikanth’s third movie as Don after Kabali and Kaala. Simran Bagga will be paired opposite Rajnikanth meanwhile Vijay Sethupati will play the lead antagonist.
