Sanjay Leela Bhansali is indeed a quiet, reclusive and an immensely focused filmmaker. Unlike other directors, who keep bragging about their films’ box-office collections and continue to celebrate even when they are done and dusted, Bhansali believes in the complete opposite. Despite the blockbuster success of his magnum-opus, Padmaavat, that raked in over 300 crore, the filmmaker is no mood to celebrate and has already begun work on two of his next films.
Reportedly, the first film he’s planning to make is a film tentatively titled, Prince, yet again a period drama, and he’s reportedly planning to re-unite with his Guzaarish actor, Hrithik Roshan. On the other hand, he’s also making a film on Amrita Pritam’s biopic and wants Alia Bhatt to portray her character. Abhishek Bachchan has been reportedly finalized to essay the role of Sahir Ludhianvi, the famous poet. It’s still not known whether Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be directing both the films or just producing them. But after working with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in three consecutive films, it’s refreshing to see him work with the likes of Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt and Abhishek Bachchan, so what if in different films?
Hrithik Roshan, on the work-front, is busy with his upcoming film, Super 30, releasing on the 25th of January, 2019, meanwhile Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of Raazi, which arrives in the cinemas on the 11th of May, 2018, and Abhishek Bachchan has Manmarziyaan coming up on the 7th of September, 2018.
