T-Series, started by the late Gulshan Kumar, known as the Music Baron, has always been India’s No.1 music company. However, who would’ve thought their International clout would surpass that of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift, possibly two of the biggest names in the global circuit? Well, that has turned out to be true! T-Series has attracted more views and subscribers on YouTube than anybody else. It garners over 100,000 subscribers daily and it’s videos have been seen more than 53 billion times.
Neeraj Kalyan, the president of T-Series, recently stated, “The recent growth in internet usage in India has really helped us grow exponentially. The last two years have been really action packed. In addition to the main Bollywood channel, T-Series has 28 other channels, which are each geared toward a different slice of a country that speaks dozens of dialects. We have no choice other than to release all that content.”
Now that’s quite a fascinating record and equally enviable too!
