Hrithik Roshan is someone who you’d call an ideal superstar, since he has no apprehensions whatsoever to shed his bulky and shredded persona if the story of a film demands that, and his look from Super 30, the Anand Kumar biopic, is a very recent proof of that.
Sure, you have already heard about B-Town celebs go gaga of Duggu’s complete transformation for the biopic, but, have you ever wondered how does the REAL Anand Kumar feel about it?
Showering his praises for the superstar, the Math whiz shared, “I saw the picture of Hrithik Roshan playing me. The resemblance to what I looked like in my younger days is uncanny. There is a hunger in Hrithik’s eyes that I felt when I was starting out on my mission to tutor promising maths students and to give them an atmosphere conducive to learning. I think Hrithik Roshan understands that hunger. As an actor he has felt the same hunger.”
To which, he added, “I have neither the body nor the face of Hrithikji. He understood the need to transform himself both physically and emotionally. He has actually put on a lot of weight to look like me. That’s commendable considering he is a superstar known for his six-pack physique. I hope his efforts pay off and that my message of gyan for underprivileged students reaches far and wide after this film.”
Well, Anand ji, we hope so too.
