Ranveer Singh is on a roll since the success of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat. Now as per the latest report, the actor is all set to collaborate with his Gunday director Ali Abbas Zaffar for a comedy film. The untitled venture will reportedly see Ranveer’s funny side.
Talking about it, a source told to a leading daily, “It is a super funny, massy project and Ali was the perfect fit to direct it with Ranveer. The director has two 300-crore plus blockbusters under his belt and the brand is aware that he understands the pulse of the masses. Ranveer will be presented in an extremely outlandish manner. His flamboyance, versatility and comic timing have been explored to the fullest by Ali.”
Meanwhile, Ranveer will also be seen in the Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba opposite Sara Ali Khan in which he will be playing the role of a crooked and corrupt cop. The movie is slated to hit the screens on December 28, 2018. On the other hand, Ali Abbas Zafar is currently bus shooting the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat in Abu Dhabi which is scheduled to release on Eid next year.
