Actor-turned-politician Paresh Rawal will be seen in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, Sanju, which opens in the cinemas on June 29. But this isn’t his first tryst with biopics; the actor has portrayed Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the 1994 film, Sardar.
Now, the actor is gearing up for yet another biopic, where he’ll portray the role of none other than our Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Talking about essaying this giant figure on the celluloid, this is what the actor said, “It will be a hugely challenging role. We are just locking the script and hopefully it will finish soon, and we will begin to shoot it in September or October.”
If reports are to be believed, Rawal will be co-producing the film as well. Let’s see how the fascinating journey of Modi is presented on the big screen!
