South Superstar Vijay, who’s all geared up for the mega-release of his next film, Sarkar, has landed himself in quite a BIG trouble. A few weeks ago, the film’s director, AR Murugadoss, unveiled the first look of this ambitious film and gave all the fans a massive reason to celebrate. Alas, the celebration of the makers regarding the film’s curiosity and hype may be short-lived as they have been served with a legal notice.
Actually, the first poster saw the Superstar smoking a cigarette and that’s precisely why the Madras High Court has issued a notice to the makers. The former Union Health Minister and PMK (Pattali Makkal Katch) leader, Anbumani Ramadoss, said, “Shame on Actor Vijay for promoting Smoking in this first look of his next movie… You’ll look more stylish without that cigarette”. In case you missed it, this is the much controversial poster being talked about:-
The makers are yet to respond to the notice and the entire controversy that has erupted due to the first look. Sarkar is all set for a Diwali 2018 release.
