Post the success of her debut movie Gold, Mouni Roy is back with Made In China opposite Rajkummar Rao and Brahmastra along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. But the actress seems to be in a dilemma as both of her movies are clashing on the same date and will have an Independence Day release next year. Interestingly Mouni’s Gold too was an Independence Day release and a box office hit, so we can hope these movies might also work out well for the actress.
Mouni, who will be seen as a lead antagonist in Brahmastra, shared her excitement in working in the movie and was quoted saying to a leading daily, “While I can’t reveal much about my character, I can say that I am the only villain of the Ranbir film. It was surreal. I was like this little puppy who was just excited to see him and didn’t t know what to do and after giving a shot with him I could have happily died. Who would have imagined that a girl from Cooch Behar would be sharing the screen with Amitabh Bachchan.”
Meanwhile in Made In China, the actress will be donning the role of a Gujarati girl with Rajkummar in the role of a struggling businessman.
