Kangana Ranaut “The fearless Julia” from ‘Rangoon’, plays leading actress who travels, performs and entertains soldiers of the British Indian Army in this upcoming Vishal Bhardwaj’s directorial. Kangana states that this film is best to be watched on Women’s Day as ‘Rangoon’ is all about a “strong woman.”
When interacting with media at the Mumbai Airport, the actress revealed, “In Rangoon, Julia is a strong female character and the story revolves around her. Therefore, I believe that this film is quite important for Women’s Day and perfect to enjoy on that occasion.”
This movie is based on the 1940’s British era when India was struggling to get independence. The 29-year-old actress who is always passionate about every role, arrived at the airport in a vintage care, as “Jaanbaaz Julia”
Talking about the vintage experience, Kangana mentioned, “I felt very nice riding the vintage car. It’s a new experience for me.” The actress will felicitate and interact with jawans at an army camp in Jammu on Tuesday. Starring Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor too, the film is set to release on February 24 before International Women’s Day which is on March 8.
