Padmaavat star Ranveer Singh has proven his acting mettle time and again and his most recent performance as the evil and conniving Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s most recent release is its proof. Another known fact is that our man Singh here is not at all shy of experimenting with different sorts of genres and his upcoming projects, the Zoya Akhtar-directed Gully Boy and the currently-in-production Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba are proofs of that.
But now, it seems like the Padmaavat star is ready to take up a new challenge as if a source is to be believed, Ranveer will soon team up with director Maneesh Sharma, who he has collaborated with for films like Band Baaja Baarat and Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl.
While speaking about the same, a source was quoted saying, “This is Ranveer and Maneesh’s third film together, after Band Baaja Baaraat and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. It’s a love story, but also a musical drama. The music will play a pivotal part in the narrative like it does in Hollywood musicals such as La La Land.”
Now, won’t this be a super exciting space to see Ranveer in?
