It was earlier stated that Netflix was about to drop the season 2 of the much loved series Sacred Games owning to the sexual harassment charges against writer Varun Grover and one of the partners of its production house Vikas Bahl.
Now as per the latest news, Netflix is all set to be back with the series after a probe and will continue with their old partners Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Kashyap and Varun Grover.
In their statement released on Tuesday, Netflix said, “After an independent investigation, the results helped inform Netflix’s decision to continue with Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap on season 2 of Sacred Games. We continue to collaborate with our production partners to ensure and maintain a safe and respectful working environment.”
For the uninitiated, the co-directors of the series, Anurag and Vikramaditya have been under fire for their alleged inaction in the sexual harassment allegations against former Phantom Films partner Vikas Bahl by an employee.
Coming back to Sacred Games, the series starred Saif Ali Khan as cop Sartaj Singh and Nawaz as gangster Ganesh Gaitonde.
