After stunning us all with his performance in the Kajol-starrer VIP 2, Dhanush was all set to treat his fans with yet another class act in the Vetrimaaran-directed Vada Chennai, which has been produced by Dhanush himself under his home banner, Wunderbar Films. But guess what else is produced by the man under the same label? It’s the Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala!
So, perhaps in order to avoid a clash at the box office, Dhanush took the decision to move his own film a little further!
Yes, you read that right! Vada Chennai, which will mark the beginning of a trilogy for Dhanush, will now see the light of day only in August, perhaps only after Kaala is nearing the end of its run!
Our excitement for Vada Chennai is on a different level altogether, as this film is the director-actor duo’s third project together post delivering masterpieces such as Polladhavan and Aadukalam.
But, we think we get the reason behind the same. At the end of the day, Dhanush is also a business person and a clash has hardly ever been a lucrative affair for the people involved.
